At my back door the golden ash tree plays host to many different birds but none more beautiful than our luminous white Sulphur-crested cockatoos. The harmony of yellows in the crest feathers and autumnal foliage contrast so beautifully with the cool reflected blues of the clear sky ......displayed to perfection on the canvas of white plumage. Bright dark eyes give you the clue that these are highly intelligent birds with more than a hint of mischief about them!
