A simple study of this magnificent female goshawk which has to be in my mind one of the most glorious birds it has been my privilege to meet. The ruby red eyes are contrasted sharply with the luminous, snow-white plumage and make it so very obvious just how spirited and formidable this mighty hunter truly is. One close look into those intense eyes and I was won over completely.
