The soft warmth of early Spring washes around this gorgeous young male koala as I stand quietly nearby just observing. He is not afraid of me and indeed he probably knows exactly who I am since he lives in this area. After a time of mutual observation and contemplation I leave quietly and allow him to do what koalas mostly do during the daytime…. get settled in his chosen tree, and sleep.
