Frogs around the world are valuable indicators of environmental health. Apart from being really cute we need to pay attention when frogs begin to vanish from habitat. The curious growling sounds of these little guys used to be a very common sound around the waterways of my childhood but not anymore. The great news however is that given our proper stewardship many frog species soon recover.
