Pets
Your pets are so important to you and they all deserve to be cherished.
They are also important to Steve when you commission him to create a special painting of them. He loves nothing better than spending time with animals and if he is to paint your pet’s unique character, he must of course get to know your pet in person. That can be tricky since pets live in sometimes far distant places…. but wherever humanly possible Steve will factor into his field trips, a visit to spend time with your pet. During this time, he will sketch and photograph your treasured critter and this experience will then inform his final artwork.

Steve himself says “No critter is too small or too large for my art. Whether it’s your horse, your elephant or your ferret, pets are people too…. they just wear different clothes and my job as an artist is to know who they are and to portray that unique personality”.
